Mogilanskata Mogila, also known as the "Mogila Mound," is an ancient burial mound located in Vratza, Bulgaria. During excavations in 1965–66, three tombs were found. The burial mound is estimated to date back to the Thracian period. This era marked a time of rich Thracian heritage and culture, and this burial mound is a testament to the customs and beliefs of the ancient civilization.
During the excavation of the Mogila Mound, the archaeologists uncovered a variety of remarkable ancient artifacts. These treasures included golden and silver objects, jewelry, ceramics, and more. The most striking discovery was a unique set of gold objects, each intricately designed with a high level of craftsmanship.
